Smithville ISD Board Briefs
February 4, 2002
The Smithville I.S.D. Board of Trustees met in special session on Monday, February 4, 2002 beginning at 6:00 P.M. Items discussed or acted on by members included the following:
1. Consideration and possible action on employing an interim superintendent – Linda Rooks made a motion to employ Charles Uselton as interim superintendent. Peggy Walicek seconded, and the motion carried 6-0. Craig Williams motioned to add the statement "and amend the budget accordingly" to the previous motion. Howard Burns seconded, and the motion carried 6-0.
2. Adjournment – The Board adjourned its meeting at 6:05 p.m.
