TRANSFERS The Board shall not permit transfers into the District, except as it may deem appropriate on a case-by-case basis.
Nonresident students may transfer under the following conditions:
  1. The acceptance of transfer and other ineligible students in no way limits the educational opportunities normally provided for resident students.
  2. All ineligible students are accepted in accordance with state law, TEA regulations, decisions of the state and federal courts of jurisdiction, and Board policies of the District.
EXCEPTIONS
The acceptance of children of nonresident employees shall be given priority consideration and shall be accepted if all other provisions of this policy are met. These students will not be charged a tuition fee.
Resident students who become nonresidents during the course of a semester shall be permitted to continue in attendance for the remainder of the semester.
TUITION The Board shall determine annually and within statutory limits the amount of tuition, if any, to be charged
