National School Lunch Program

Dear Parent/Guardian:
Children need healthy meals to learn. Smithville Independent School District offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast are no cost; Brown Primary lunch costs $2.25, Main Cafeteria (Elementary and Junior High) $2.50, High School $2.75.

Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced-price meals. Breakfast is always free and $.40 for lunch. For more information about reduced-price meals, download the Information and Application documents below. Both are provided in English and Spanish. 

To receive free or reduced priced meals for their children, individuals must complete an application form, available for download below, and return it to the school or mail it to: 

SISD Child Nutrition Department, P.O. Box 479 , Smithville, Texas 78957. 

For more information, call the Child Nutrition Office at 237-5646. The Child Nutrition Department is located at 800 Bishop St., Smithville.
