Smithville ISD After-School Program

for students in Kindergarten thru 6th Grade

Smithville ISD Afterschool program


 Registration for Summer ACE is now closed.


Registration for Fall ACE will begin at Back to School registration.


Thank you. We hope you have an enjoyable and restful summer.

Summer ACE hours are:


Monday-Thursday 8:00-3:00

Free breakfast is served daily at 7:30 in the main cafeteria at Smithville Elementary School.

We are closed on Wednesday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday.


There are four optional field trips on four Fridays throughout the summer.


Friday, June 15

Mother Neff State Park, hiking and birding.

8:00 AM – Depart SES campus

4:00 PM – Arrive SES campus


Friday, June 22

San Jacinto Battlefield and Memorial and Battleship Texas, Texas history.

8:00 AM – Depart SES campus

6:00 PM – Arrive SES campus


Friday, July 6

Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, hiking, bouldering, spelunking, wildlife.

8:00 AM – Depart SES campus

6:00 PM – Arrive SES campus


Friday, July 13

McKinney Falls State Park, hiking, fishing, water play

8:00 AM – Depart SES campus

3:00 PM – Arrive SES campus


What to bring:

Good walking shoes


Water bottle

Required medication


Optional items to bring:


Souvenir money



Dry clothes (McKinney Falls only)

We might get wet at McKinney Falls so a change of clothes might be good to have on that trip.

Snack - Breakfast is provided each Friday by the Smithville Child Nutrition Department starting at 7:30 A. M. Lunches will be provided on the trips.

If students would like to bring a non-refrigerated snack that they will carry, they may do so.
