Academic Calendars for each school year are approved by the SISD Board of Trustees and include input from the District Site-Based Committee, Campus Site-Based Committees, the Superintendent, district administrators, and staff at each campus.

Academic calendars are a guide for parents and students to plan their school year and include testing, early release and holiday schedules. SISD teachers and administrators follow the calendar for staff development, nine-week schedules, and STAAR/EOC testing dates.

2026-2027 CALENDAR

The SISD Board of Trustees approved the 26-27 Instructional Calendar at the January 20, 2026 meeting.

2025-2026 CALENDAR
