In accordance with House Bill 1481 and Smithville ISD Board Policy FNCE(LOCAL), Smithville ISD campuses will be "no phone zones" beginning in the 25-26 school year. This means that all student communications devices must be turned off and stored out of sight during the school day. The procedures for this new requirement are outlined below, including acceptable use and consequences for violations.
