Molley Perry

Dr. Molley Ealy, Superintendent

Dr. Molley Ealy has proudly served  as Superintendent of Schools for Smithville ISD since June 2025. Prior to her tenure in Smithville, she was Deputy Superintendent in both Elgin and College Station ISDs. She began her career as a special education teacher and educational diagnostician, and also holds district level leadership experience as a Director of Special Education, Executive Director, and Chief Administrative Officer.

Dr. Ealy is a proud Aggie, having earned both her Bachelor’s degree and Doctorate in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University. She also holds a Master of Education degree from Texas Tech University. 

As a third generation educator with well over 25 years of experience in the field, Dr. Ealy has a true heart for students.  She believes in educating the whole child by providing students with engaging learning experiences, so that they may discover their passions and have limitless opportunities for their future.

Dr. Ealy is married to Dr. Clark Ealy and has two adult children. Her son, Grant, attends Texas A&M as a Materials Science and Engineering major, and her daughter, Maggie, is studying Communications Sciences and Disorders at Baylor University.

Dr. Logan

Dr. Bethany Logan, Assistant Superintendent

Dr. Bethany Logan earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, master’s degree from Texas State University-San Marcos, and doctorate from Texas A&M University-College Station.  With over two decades in public education, Dr. Logan has taught grades Pre-K through 12 and has been an administrator in varying roles throughout the years.

Some of her responsibilities within Smithville ISD include oversight of Safety and Security, Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, Federal Programs, the DAEP/Tiger Academy, and Curriculum & Instruction
