Smithville ISD Accountability Ratings for District and Campus

The Texas Education Agency prepares Accountability Ratings for both a district and it's campuses. There are three rating levels a district or campus can receive. The Accountability System calculates accountability ratings using three domains:

• Academic Achievement (70% of the overall score; includes student scores and College, Career & Military Readiness)

• School Progress (Academic Growth year-over-year and Relative Performance as compared to other similar districts)

• Closing the Gaps (Looking at how differences in scores among racial/ethnic groups)
