Due to the potential for inclement weather, the Trunk or Treat is being moved to the Smithville Rec Center.
It will still be an amazing event for the entire family...we can't wait to see you there!

What an AMAZING Educational Farmer's Market! We were so excited to get our Kindergarten-5th grade students out for a day of learning, trying new foods, and meeting some pretty neat animals! Thanks to everyone who came out and was part of this great event!

Brown Primary is conducting a Lockdown Drill. No one will be allowed on or off campus during the drill. We appreciate your cooperation!

We want to inform you of an upcoming traffic change near Brown Primary.
At the October 14th Smithville City Council meeting, ordinances establishing SW 4th Street as one-way were repealed. Effective November 1st, SW 4th Street (from Walker St. to Highway 95) will become a two-way street.
What this means for Brown Primary families:
π Pick-up and drop-off procedures remain the same
π Drivers may now come from both directions on SW 4th Street
π Please use extra caution when walking to or from school
Thank you for your attention to this important safety update. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Please see the flyer for the Red Ribbon Week dress up themes!

The theme this year is also a reminder: safety doesnβt begin or end with the bus ride. Itβs about Safety at Every Stopβfrom the moment a child leaves their front door to the time they return home.
π Stay alert. - Slow down in school zones and neighborhoods.
π Stop for the bus. - Obey the stop-arm law every timeβno exceptions.
π Support accountability. - Technology and enforcement work hand in tandem to change driver behavior.
π Raise awareness. - Share facts, resources, and personal stories that open eyes and change hearts.
Let's all help keep our buses a safe place for our students!
