Smithville I.S.D. is seeking nominations for the 2025-2026 Gifted and Talented Program. Teachers, parents, and community members may submit nominations for students in grades K-12th to be screened for inclusion in SISD’s 2025-2026 Gifted and Talented Program.
Students who, by virtue of outstanding mental abilities, are capable of high performance and demonstrate, singly or in combination, above-average achievement or potential in such areas as general intellectual ability, specific subject matter aptitude, and outstanding productive thinking may be nominated.
Nominated students will be screened for the Gifted and Talented Program based upon a selection criteria grid with the final selection of students to be completed by January 23, 2026.
Nominations must be submitted by November 14, 2025.
