Smithville ISD Credit by Examination 
Current SISD students interested in receiving credit for acceleration, or for a course without prior instruction will need to register to take an exam to test the essential knowledge and skills. 

Forms are available at each campus counselor's office or can be downloaded.  Information is listed below.

Testing dates 26-27 are:

July 28, 20, and 30, 2026 (deadline to request: July 2nd)

November 17, 18, and 19, 2026 (deadline to request: October 23rd)

February 23, 24, and 25, 2027 (deadline to request: January 29th)

May  4, 5, and 6, 2027 (deadline to request: April 16th)

If you plan to take an examination for acceleration, you (or your parent) must register with the Assistant Superintendent by the associated deadline.  For further information, see Board policy EHDC local or call Dr. Bethany Logan at 512-237-2487.
