🌞 Sun Meals To Go is Back! 🍎 We’re excited to announce that the Smithville ISD Summer Meal Program, Sun Meals To Go, is returning this summer! Candy Biehle, Director of Child Nutrition, shared the great news with the Smithville Noon Lions Club earlier today. This FREE program is open to ALL children 18 and under — not just Smithville ISD students. Whether your child attends another district, is homeschooled, or just visiting for the summer, they are welcome! 📦 Meals will be distributed twice a week at four convenient locations, and we’re adding a new evening pickup option this year to make it even easier for families. Each child will receive 7 days’ worth of meals to help ensure no child goes hungry.

Picnic Day at Brown Primary was a bug success! 🐜☀️ Our Pre-K and Kindergarten kiddos enjoyed their lunch on classic red checkered tablecloths, enjoying their lunch, thinking of summer vacation ! Even the ants and bugs showed up... but don’t worry — they were the plastic, party-crasher kind. 🐞😆 No bites, just giggles! #PicnicPros #NoBugSprayNeeded #LittleLunchLegend

Guess who hopped by the cafeteria today? The Easter Bunny made a special appearance during lunch for our amazing 4th and 5th graders and kitchen staff! With a basket full of springtime cheer, our furry friend brought smiles, high-fives, and a touch of Easter magic to the lunchroom. Students couldn't believe their eyes when the Easter Bunny appeared between the lunch tables, pausing for photos and sharing celebratory moments with everyone! From our school family to yours, we wish you a HOPPY EASTER filled with joy, chocolate, and wonderful memories! May your holiday weekend be as bright and colorful as a basket of Easter eggs! 🐰🌷🥚
