SISD welcomed a wonderful crowd on Tuesday, January 20 to celebrate the designation of the Mary A. Brown School as a historical site in Smithville, TX. Having the opportunity to celebrate this milestone with our community and school district was incredibly memorable for all of us in Smithville ISD!

The Tiger and Lady Tiger Soccer Matches originally scheduled for Friday are being moved up to Thursday, January 22nd. Lady Tigers will begin at 4:30pm and Tigers at 6pm at HOME!

Tiger Families - Reminder that Friday, December 19th is a student holiday and staff workday. Smithville ISD will be closed from December 20th through January 4th for the Winter Break. SISD staff returns to work on January 5th, and students return on January 6th. We hope you have a safe and happy holiday!

PreK classes at BP had a fun adventure finding their runaway gingerbread men!
Each class made their own gingerbread man cake. When the classes came to the kitchen to get their Gingerbread Man out of the oven, he was gone! A clue was left behind and the hunt began for the missing Gingerbread Man.
A good time was enjoyed by all!
