Doors open at 6:30pm. The introduction of the court will begin at 7pm.
We invite all our Tiger families and community to join us as we continue the Homecoming celebration! If you are unable to be there in person, we will have the crowning on Facebook Live on the Smithville High School page.
We look forward to seeing all our students and families this evening!

Thank you all for your patience as we navigated this weather event tonight. We hope everyone made it home safely. Just a recap of the changes to our Homecoming football game and festivities:
- Due to damage from a lightning strike at Tiger Stadium, the varsity football game will be played tomorrow morning (9/12) at 10am in GIDDINGS. There will be no charge for entry to the game. Thanks to Giddings ISD for their flexibility and hospitality!
- The Homecoming Dance will continue as planned, beginning tomorrow at 7:30pm at SHS. The district is working on a plan to allow family and friends to attend the crowning of our Homecoming King and Queen. We will communicate the details as soon as possible.
We are continuing to work through all the logistics of this rescheduled game, and will communicate as we have new information. Thank you, Tiger Nation, for your support and understanding. TIGER PRIDE!

We will have the crowning of our Homecoming King and Queen during our HALFTIME SHOW. Come out and show your support for our students and stick around to watch our Tiger Band take the field!

Smithville ISD honors the victims, heroes, and families of September 11, 2001.

Join us tomorrow for 2026 HOMECOMING!!
During Halftime at Tiger Stadium, our Homecoming Court will be introduced and we will find out who will be crowned Homecoming King and Queen! Good luck to our couples:
👑Bodie Goertz and Briley Tomlin
👑Brodie Taylor and Brityn Roberts
👑Raando Arpero and Belle Bartsch
