Dr. Molley Perry joined Smithville ISD as Superintendent of Schools in June 2025. Prior to her tenure in Smithville, she served as Deputy Superintendent in both Elgin and College Station ISDs. She began her career as a special education teacher and educational diagnostician, and also holds district level leadership experience as a Director of Special Education, Executive Director, and Chief Administrative Officer.
“I am truly honored to have been selected to lead and serve as the Superintendent of Schools for Smithville ISD,” said Dr. Perry. “The Smithville community is an incredible place, and am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside our Board of Trustees, administrators, teachers, and staff to build upon a strong foundation of success and achieve excellent outcomes for our students.”
Dr. Perry is a proud Aggie, having earned both her Bachelor’s degree and Doctorate in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University. She also holds a Master of Education degree from Texas Tech University.
As a third generation educator with well over two decades of experience in the field, Dr. Perry has a true heart for students. She believes in educating the whole child by providing students with engaging learning experiences, so that they may discover their passions and have limitless opportunities for their future.
Dr. Perry has two children: Her son, Grant, attends Texas A&M as a Materials Science and Engineering major, and her daughter, Maggie, is studying Communications Sciences and Disorders at Baylor University.
